Kobe Local Committee - Siggraph Asia 2015
Opening animation for the Kobe Local Committee booth at Siggraph Asia 2015.
The whole project was done in Houdini and rendered using Octane in 4K resolution. The video was projected at the event on a stage wide 4K screen to attract visitors.The whole project took about one week from start to finish.
Tools used:
- Houdini - All modeling and animation.
- Octane (for Maya) - All rendering aspects. The mesh was brought to Maya in alembic format and rendered in Octane with different passes.
- NukeX - Composite and color correctoin. Passes were used to add DOF, chromatic aberration etc.
